Cerebral Palsy Websites
I've listed below several cerebral palsy Websites which you will hopefully find usefull. Some of them are informative sites explaining the basics of cerebral palsy. Other delve a bit deeper, discussing treatments or offering advice to parents who find themselves raising a child with cerebral palsy. Still others are personal sites of people who either have CP, or know someone with CP. I will try to give a short description of the sites, and will be adding more in the near future. - United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) - United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) is a wonderful source of information on cerebral palsy and is a pivotal advocate for the rights of persons with any disability.
- Cerebral Palsy - An information portal with lots of different information concerning cerebral palsy.
- Scope - Scope is a disability organization in England and Wales which focuses on people with cerebral palsy. Their aim is that disabled people achieve equality: a society in which they are as valued and have the same human and civil rights as everyone else.
- Dr. Greene - Dr. Greene is the Chief Medical Officer of A.D.A.M., the Founder & CEO of DrGreene.com, and the Pediatric Expert for AmericanBaby.com. He is on the Clinical Faculty at Stanford University School of Medicine where he sees patients and teaches Residents. - Cerebral Palsy Associations of Canada - Network of resources that supports individuals, families, caregivers, professionals, students and others whose lives are touched by Cerebral Palsy.
- AACPDM - The American Academy for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine is a multidisciplinary scientific society devoted to the study of cerebral palsy and other childhood onset disabilities, to promoting professional education for the treatment and management of these conditions, and to improving the quality of life for people with these disabilities.

- DREDF - Founded in 1979 by people with disabilities and parents of children with disabilities, the Disability Rights Education and Defense Fund, Inc. (DREDF) is a national law and policy center dedicated to protecting and advancing the civil rights of people with disabilities through legislation, litigation, advocacy, technical assistance, and education and training of attorneys, advocates, persons with disabilities, and parents of children with disabilities.
