Cerebral Palsy Blogs

Blogging is still a relatively new form of communication. As a result, there are only a small number of blogs relating to cerebral palsy. I've listed the ones I've come across below. If you know of any more, please email me so I can add it to the list!

• Disability in the Brazilian Context - A student of Temple University in Philadelphia is sent to Salvador, Bahia, Brazil to study the social inclusion of people with disabilities and assistive technology. This is a record of his observations, views, experiences, and research. Please commit, criticize, inform, spread the word and help the conversation grow.
• Cerebral Palsy Information - Blog with various pieces of info and links concerning cerebral palsy.
• Cerebral Palsy - Information and resources relating to Cerebral Palsy.
• Hyperbaric Treatment for Cerebral Palsy - Blog written by a parent, detailing Hyperbaric Treatment for his son's cerebral palsy.
• Science Blog - Entry on a science blog site talking about improving cerebral palsy symptoms with botulinum toxin.
• Ouch! - "Ouch's weblog is where we bring you the latest snippets, half-heard whisperings and gossip about the disability scene and coverage of disability in the media."
• Nightengale of Samarkand - A livejournal site of a disabled woman's experiences attending medical school.
• CP Livejournalers - A livejournal site for those who have Cerebral Palsy or know someone with CP. A place to talk about CP issues, or just to talk about anything with other people who understand this aspect of your life!
• Becky's Journal - Charming blog of a young woman with spinal muscular atrophy. While this is a different conditon than cerebral palsy, she does talk about her daily life and how she overcomes her obstacles.
• Ad Nauseum - Pre-med student and oft-times patient's random musings on topics in medicine and the sciences.
• Rolling Rains Report - Precipitating Dialogue on Travel, Disability, and Universal Design.
